Support My Dog

This really doesn't effect Hampton & I directly, but if the TV or Internet goes out, then Hampton & I could be waiting weeks to get it fix. Cox cable came out & had a Bee keeper remove the Bee's.

In Kansas its illeal to kill honey Bee's.1st theyare our state bug & 2nd state law protects them because they pollinate the plants.

It was cool having them, wish I could keep them, but now where to put them.

And so is Hampton! We usually play slobber ball for an hour or more & I have to drag him in or he'll play all night. With this heat, Hampton will last about 30 min's & want to go back in. Once in Hampton will drink 1/2 gallon of water & drop down on the cool floor for a 15 min break & then will be ready to go again.

Hampton, Ann & I went to Sedgwick County Park last weekend for a Wheelchair Sports / PVA social. We had a great time. Hampton loves the ducks & gease, had to keep him on the leash so they could play/swim in peace. Hampton got to see his sister Ramada & another KSDS dog Jingle. They didn't play much, they where on the leash also, maybe next time!

Why is it when Derby puts on its "Derby Day's" Celebration the weather heats up into the 90's but, the Wichita "River Festaval" is always cold & wet?

Hampton & I went to the Derby parade Friday night, it started 45 minuets late & we where over heating, so left early it was mostly politicians, civic vehicles & community groups sure miss the Shriner's. Sunday we went to the carney, it took Hampton & I 30 minuets to wheel up to the rides. We didn't do much seeing how we where late to the dog show & it was 90+ outside. On our way home I noticed I was getting sun burned & Hampton was over heating, so we found a shade tree every 100 yds or so to cool off. We made it home in about an hour & drank about 2 gallons of water between us. One of these years the weather will be just right.

Hampton is back to his normal stubborn self, after taking his meds :) He is also on a new diet from Hills, it promotes dental health. That's great, but I like it because the kibbles are the size of donut holes & I can pick them up easier. This makes it easier to hand feed Hampton.
