If wasn't for some bad luck, I wouldn't have much! Saturday my wheelchair slid off a wet ramp, breaking my right shoulder. My right arm is (was) the only arm strong enough to control everything due to my paralysis. When I get in my wheelchair, I drive it left hand, & you would think I was drunk because of the weakness of my left arm. Luckily Hampton wasn't hooked to my chair when I went over. Hampton sat there nice & calm while the EMS & Fire department pulled me up, & believe me it hurt like hell when they moved me!

Hampton has been stressing some since the accident due to his routine has changed. The afternoon & evening times we would play slobber ball & go on long walks. That will have to wait till I get my arm healed. In the mean time we do the best we can!

Great news, Hampton has been excepted into the VA system for health coverage. Now his vet visits, shots & medical needs are fully covered along with any equipment Hampton might need.

Today is our 1 month anniversary graduation from KSDS, Inc. & we are doing pretty good. Hampton is learning to put his slobbery toys in the sink when he is done playing so we don't have too. He is retrieving much better it might take a few extra tries but he gets it done. He is doing well in public as long as there are no animals around to distract him. If things keep going like they are we are going to be a great team!
