Hampton hurt his foot Saturday while we we’re out walking. About a ½ mile from home he came up lame. I flagged down a motorist & he called home for me. The wife took him to the vet ER & they found a piece of glass in his foot. He is so funny trying to get around with the lamp shade on. We took it off Sunday because he kept running into everything, along with scooping up snow & water. He leaves the bandage alone & now that he can see it will hobble at times.
After spending Sunday in bed all day,he is moving around better today & wants to be a little more active,
We have a bad problem with glass on sidewalks & streets lately. Hopefully they’ll grow out of this faze.
With the weather getting nicer, it feels strange being outside without him, especially that last 1/2 mile home by myself.
