We took Hampton swimming today at Rock River Rapids & we had a blast. The weather was nice, in the low 80's & cloudy, last year it was 100+ & sunny. The water was just right. Hampton was like a kid in the candy store, running all over with all the other dogs. He finally settled down enough for us to play some slobber ball. After 2 1/2 hours Hampton was warn out & Ann & I were comfortably soaked. Ann drove home with a friend & there dog. While Hampton & I walked home, so he could dry out. Needles to say he was still wet when we got home, so a little towel & brush work did the job. Hampton is now taking a nice lazy break after eating his dinner. He should sleep well to night!
